Carpet Care & Warranty

Babyloni Limited are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products. That's why we offer the following warranty for our hand-made silk carpets purchased through our site.

Warranty Coverage:

  • For a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, our hand-made silk carpets will conform to the description provided on our site and will be of satisfactory quality.
  • Our hand-made silk carpets will be reasonably fit for the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied.
  • The warranty covers all parts and labor, excluding collection and redelivery charges.

Warranty Exclusions. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any defects caused by accidental damage, such as broken glass or cracked mirrored surfaces, while the products are in your possession.

Some common examples of improper care for silk carpets include:

  1. Exposure to direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colors in the carpet to fade and the fibers to become brittle and dry.
  2. Incorrect cleaning methods: Using harsh chemicals or scrubbing too aggressively can damage the delicate fibers of the silk carpet.
  3. Improper storage: Storing a silk carpet in a damp or humid environment can lead to the growth of mold and mildew, which can cause permanent damage to the fibers.
  4. Ignoring spills and stains: Allowing spills and stains to set into the carpet can result in permanent discoloration and damage to the fibers.
  5. Neglecting vacuuming: Regular vacuuming is important for removing dirt, dust, and debris that can accumulate on the surface of the carpet and cause damage over time.

To maintain the appearance, durability, and overall value of a silk carpet, it is important to follow proper care and maintenance guidelines provided by the manufacturer or an expert in textile care.
